För att genomföra en beställning på you must be at least 18 years of age and shop as a final consumer. By placing an order and paying for it at checkout, you are agreeing to our current terms and conditions and confirm that all of the information that you have provided us with is correct.

Prices and Payment

This is how it works

Each and every placed and approved order generates an order confirmation. It will be sent to you via e-mail. The most common reason for not receiving an order confirmation is that the wrong e-mail address has been given at the time of checkout or that the e-mail has been sorted as junk mail.


Shipping and Delivery

You will receive free shipping on all orders with a value above 599 SEK within Sweden. If the value is less than 599 SEK, you will be charged a fee of 49 SEK. We use DHL as freight company. When making a return within Sweden, you will be charged an additional fee of 49 SEK.

The expected delivery time for final consumers is one (1) to two (2) business days. In addition, one (1) to two (2) business day are required for handling your order. When there are many orders to handle, for example before the Holidays and when our office will be closed, the delivery times can be longer, up to five (5) to seven (7) business days. Our company will be closed between Christmas and New Year’s, as well as three weeks in July. During this time, no orders will be shipped.

As soon as your order has left our premises, you will receive an e-mail of confirmation. It will contain parcel-ID and a tracking link. 

Make sure to collect your package within the given days. We will charge you 250 SEK for all packages that are returned to us. This charge includes fees as well as administrative costs. Please contact us if you wish to have the package resent to you.

Variations

We only work with natural raw materials, such as extracts and essential oils. For that reason, the scent, texture and colour of a product may vary from one batch to another. The reason is that the plants may have had varied access to water and sunlight and different soil quality.The Calendula extract that can be found in Hand Cream can vary greatly since the colour of the flowers varies. This can be avoided, to get the same colour and scent time after time, but then chemicals must be used.


Scents may change depending how long the products have been opened. The scent of Royal Body Oil, for example, will become more “round”.


Returns and Claims

If products from MARIA ÅKERBERG have been purchased from a reseller, then please turn to that reseller to receive help with your order.

As a final consumer in Sweden, you have the right to return your products within 14 days after receiving them. This law only applies to unopened and unused products together with the packaging. Opened and used makeup, skincare or other products cannot be returned due to hygienic reasons. Please contact MARIA ÅKERBERG AB by sending an e-mail to claims@mariaakerberg.com. Remember to include your contact information, what the reason for contacting us is as well as your order number. We will respond and may ask for additional information and send you a digital bill of lading so that you can return the products to us. Within 14 days of receiving them, if we have determined the products to be unused, we will make a refund via the payment method used at the time of purchase. However, we will deduct 49 SEK for the return shipping.

If you have accepted your package and found broken items inside, or if something is missing, then please contact us at claims@mariaakerberg.com. You should also contact us if you believe there is something wrong with a product. For MARIA ÅKERBERG AB to be able to return your money, at least half of the content needs to remain in the tube/bottle. The claim must be made to us within 30 days of purchase. When we have received your products and accepted the claim, we will return your money within 14 days. You will also receive an e-mail stating that the claim is closed. The return of payment will be made via the same payment method used at the time of purchase. However, we will deduct 49 SEK for the return shipping. 

If you do not appreciate the scent, effect or colour of the product, then a return or a claim is not possible. We recommend visiting a reseller before purchasing products from MARIA ÅKERBERG so that you can thoroughly test it before purchasing if you are unsure. Return/claim does not apply if the user experiences an allergic reaction. There are far more things that can affect the body other than a beauty product. You should have received such an adequate product recommendation that an allergic reaction can be ruled out.


Damage to outer packaging

If you discover that the outer packaging is damaged in such a way that the products likely are damaged as well, you shall not accept the shipment but instead return it to MARIA ÅKERBERG.


Warranty of Quality

Since products from MARIA ÅKERBERG are perishables, they are marked with a batch number and a best-before-date. Best-before-date applies to unopened products. We guarantee the therapeutic effects of a product for six (6) months after opening and within the best-before-date.

In case of a dispute, we will comply with the recommendations of The National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN). A link to the dispute resolution site can be found here.
