With caring and active ingredients, they help maintain the skin’s moisture balance, strengthen the skin barrier and keep the skin soft and supple for longer.
A common ingredient in all our Body Lotions is naturally fermented Lactic Acid (AHA), which gently exfoliates and helps the skin bind moisture, supports the skin microbiome and contributes to a well-functioning skin barrier. Combined with plant-based oils, it provides long-lasting hydration, a smoother skin texture and natural glow.

How to get the most out of your Body Lotion
Apply your body lotion directly after showering or bathing, while your skin is still slightly damp. This helps your skin retain moisture while allowing the active ingredients to work effectively.
For best results, we recommend exfoliating your body 1–2 times a week with one of our body scrubs. Removing dry skin cells leaves the skin smoother and allows your body lotion to work even more effectively.
If your skin feels particularly dry, for example during winter, you can complement your routine with a Body Balm for extra protection and moisture retention, or a Body & Massage Oil for additional nourishment and long-lasting softness.

Whichever Body Lotion you choose, you get natural and active body care developed to moisturise, strengthen the skin barrier and help the skin maintain its natural balance. Just like all skincare from MARIA ÅKERBERG, our Body Lotions are developed and manufactured in our own factory in Sweden. This gives us full control over quality – from each natural ingredient to finished product. They are also packaged in bottles and tubes made from plant-based bioplastic, a more sustainable choice for both your skin and the environment.
