We use Titanium Dioxide as a physical sun filter. It stays on the surface of the skin and reflects the sun’s UV rays, a bit like a mirror. This ingredient is considered safe for health and for the environment.
Our selection includes creams, oils and lip balm with sun protection. Two of the products have SPF printed on the package, while three do not. We call these products Outdoor.
The Outdoor series contains Titanium Dioxide, but due to certain rules, we cannot print SPF on them. The rule requires UVA protection to be at least one third of the UVB protection. The UVA protection in the Outdoor products is just under one third. This is why we cannot print SPF on these products, even though they contain a natural sun filter.

Sun Lotion SPF 20 – SPF 20

Why don’t we use a higher SPF in our products?
There is a huge difference between SPF 2 and SPF 20, but after that, the protection only differs by a few percentage points. We therefore see no reason in using an SPF higher than 20 in our products. If you want a higher level of sun protection, apply several layers of our Sun Lotion SPF 20.
